Kelmscott Handed over

• The last of the refurb works were practically completed by 29th August 2008, when the Independent Certifier and LEP manager inspected the whole project for completion.
• The main activities over the summer holiday was the main internal street revamp with included the new library and ICT facilities.
  
• The other major activity over this period was the completion of the vast main landscape area to the right of the new build which completely transforms the new appearance of the new school
• The school reopened 3rd September 2008 for the new term
• The Minister of Education Mr Ed Balls and the Minister of Sports, Mrs Tessa Joells visited the new school on 10th September 2008 and toured the new premise with the head teacher and pupils
  
• One of the Olympic silver medallists was also in attendance and was showing his medal to the delight of the pupils
